What are the terms of the license agreement?
Each copy of Articulate software must be activated using the serial
number(s) you received via email following your purchase.
The activation process is completely anonymous and exists to ensure
the legal use of Articulate software.
The Articulate End-User License Agreement entitles a single user to use
Articulate Presenter on a maximum of two computers, such as a home and
work computer, or a desktop and laptop computer. If you wish to install
the software on additional computers, or would like for more than one
individual to use the software, you will need to purchase additional license(s).

I need to use my license on a secondary computer, such as
my laptop when I travel. How do I do this?
Contact Articulate Customer Support with your serial number and your request.

I receive the following error message: "Activation Failed: Activation limits exceeded." What am I doing wrong?
Your copy of Articulate Presenter has already been successfully registered
on the maximum number of allowable computers. If you have only activated on
one PC, you also want to activate on a secondary computer, and you are always
the sole user of the software, Contact

I want to transfer my license to another
individual or move the software to another computer. What do I need to do?
If you're using Articulate Presenter 5:
- Ensure that you're connected to the Internet.
- Disable any firewall software. (This is necessary in order for your
uninstallation to credit the activation server.)
- Uninstall the software from your computer
(Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs).
- Your registration will now be released from your computer, and
the other individual may install the software.
If you're using Articulate Presenter 4 or earlier:
- Download and run
this program on the machine
from which you wish to erase the registration.
- Contact
Articulate Customer Support
with the confirmation code you receive.
- Upon receiving your confirmation code, the Support Team will advise you
on how to proceed.
If you're using Articulate Quizmaker 2:
- Ensure that you're connected to the Internet.
- Disable any firewall software. (This is necessary in order for your uninstallation to credit the activation server.)
- Uninstall the software from your computer (Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs).
- Your registration will now be released from your computer, and the other individual may install the software.
If you're using Articulate Quizmaker 1:
- Go to Help -> About Articulate Quizmaker and press Alt-E.
- Click the Erase Registration button and note the confirmation code you receive.
- Contact
Articulate Customer Support with the confirmation code you receive.
- Upon receiving your confirmation code, we will advise you on how to proceed.

languages is the PowerPoint plugin offered?
The plugin is currently available in English
only.

In which languages can
I publish my presentations?
The presentation player labels can be adapted
to any language. You can individually name any
player label and save it as a profile. Articulate
also supports unicode.

Which tools
do I need to view a presentation?
You probably don't need to install any additional
software. To view an Articulate presentation
all you need is a Macromedia Flash Player which
is already installed on 96% of all PCs or almost
600 million clients. Just in case you're not
one of them... Flash is only a 400k download
and will automatically install itself.

Do I need to be a flash
guru to publish Articulate presentations?
No, all you need to know it how to use PowerPoint.
Then you'll be able to use Articulate within
minutes.

Can I add my own logo
to the presentation player?
Yes, you can add a number of different file
formats. You can also modify a lot of other
player options.

Can I import existing
audio files?
Yes, Articulate supports WAV and MP3 import.

Can I add existing Flash
movies or Flash video to the presentations?
Yes, there are two ways to do this. Flash movies
can be imported through the Flash-Movie-Wizard.
Existing Videos in other formats can be imported
through the Insert-Web-Object function and will
be uploaded with your presentation.

Can I remove the Articulate logo from the lower left-hand corner of the Player?
Yes, it is possible to remove the "Articulate Powered Presentation" logo from the lower left-hand corner of the Articulate Player.
This article refers only to the logo in the lower left-hand corner. If you're seeing an Articulate logo in the upper left-hand corner of your Player, then you simply need to add your own logo in Library and Options -> Logos, and/or select your custom logo from the Logos drop-down when you publish.
To remove the Articulate logo from the lower left-hand corner of the Player:
- Download the
logo removal patch
- Unzip the file and launch the EXE.
- When prompted, enter this serial number: A8Q42-NFKJN-33NJ6-PB385-HAT72.
- Click Activate and you will receive confirmation. Close the application.
- When you are ready to publish via Articulate Presenter, you will now see an option in Player Template Builder -> Other to "Display powered-by logo."
- Uncheck the box to toggle the logo off.
- Save your template and when you publish, the Articulate logo will not be visible.
Note: Although it is possible to replace the logo in the upper left-hand corner with your own, the logo in the lower left-hand corner can only be removed.
